Hertle Haus in Harburg

The pick up food was ready on time and the ingredients were obviously fresh. There is nothing more positive to report. The pizzas were all badly burned and so tough that it wasn't easy to cut even with a steak knife. They were just as unconvincing in terms of taste as they were visually. Lovelessly covered and dripping with fat. Conclusion. Everyone agreed. We won't eat pizza there anymore.

We recently spent a weekend at the Hertle Haus. My first impression was very good. Everything clean, inviting, tidy. The building has been around for a number of years, but has been lovingly restored. The rooms are the same. Clean, tidy, quiet location. We slept wonderfully. The food is a dream. I had the pizza parma and my husband the ravioli with porcini mushroom filling. I have to say, I have seldom eaten so well. We recommend. We will definitely come back soon.

Delicious food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere.

The ambience in this Italian restaurant is cozy. With a little luck you can dine in the beer garden with a direct view of the Wörnitz river. The food, we had calabrese and bruschetta as starters as well as pasta with herb-mushroom pesto and a pizza as main course, was really good craftsmanship and very tasty! Unfortunately, the service couldn't keep up here. The landlord was basically very hectic the whole time, although there wasn't too much going on due to the Corona restrictions. Unfortunately, the friendliness also fell by the wayside. From our point of view, there was no reason for this behavior. Because the food was sent out of the kitchen very quickly and, as already mentioned, was very tasty. Only the cook, who occasionally came into the dining room to serve someone's food, exuded complete calm and serenity. He should give his landlord some of that! ;-) So in the end there is only 3 out of 5 stars, 4 stars for the food and unfortunately only 2 stars for the service ...

Bad service, you don't even find time to tell you that there is no space left. Extremely rude staff.

Hotel definitely not. The guy is very rude, the rooms ... okay, the sheets are clean. There is no heating. The restaurant is okay if you don't have high expectations.

Great food, the rooms clean, very hospitable. Here you can really feel good and let your mind wander. The beer garden is awesome, if the operator can do one thing then it's cooking!

Dirty place, bad food, staff (2 elderly people) smelly and smelly at shameful levels, it is not clear how they can keep them open. Simply revolting.

Unfortunately not recommended. Operation very unfriendly and stressed. Food was not good and partly raw. Never again!

Great Italian! Nice bike stop. With terrace seating over the water. Great service. Both good wine, pizza, pasta, vegan options (e.g. pizza and salad). Wonderful stop on a bike tour. Overnight stay in Harburg and the fairy tale trail are highly recommended.

First of all, the menu is manageable. However, this is generally not a weak point and especially not here. The food was delicious and the service friendly and brisk. In addition, the terrace and the balcony offer an extremely great ambience.

Best service and best food. I couldn’t ask for anything better than this. The chef was amazing and even talked to us! His steak dish was top notch!! I felt very comfortable and relaxed here. Highly highly highly recommend!! Beautiful scenery too!

Good restaurant, beautifully located on the Wörnitz in the old town of Harburg. A beer garden and balcony terrace is also available. The food tastes good, the staff is friendly.

Beautiful location alongside the stream, lovely and bright atmosphere, lovingly restored building, good prices, and friendly service.

We were wandering around looking very lost and the lovely Chef came to our rescue! We had an amazing steak and fantastic vegetarian dish. The service was perfect and we were made to feel incredibly welcome!

Very nice. Came in off season and it was perfect. The food and people were lovely. There was an entirely appropriate amount of balsamic cream on the plate.

All dishes are freshly prepared. The day ticket offers a treat for everyone. The service is friendly and professional. Can highly recommend this house with its kitchen and ambience.
